Pastor Kris brings the children to the front of the Church every Sunday after the Reading from Scripture for "A Time for the Children of Our Church."

On Tuesday, Feb. 13 we celebrated Shrove or Fat Tuesday with a delicious pancake supper. After supper, the beads and decorations were cleared and we observed Ash Wednesday. "It's Wednesday somewhere in the world."

At the Presbytery Meeting on Saturday, March 2, Kris was approved for ordination and installation.. Several church members and members of Kris's family attended. Pictured below are Nancy M., Susan, Kris, Alex and David. Attending but not pictured were Alan, Kathy, Jane, and Nancy E.

Sunday, March 18, Pastor Kris Brown was ordained and Installed at First Presbyterian Church, and we had a reception following the installation.

Sunday, April 8 - Confirmation of Alex, Asher, and Jake with helpers Lydia and Sophie

Sunday, April 15 - Youth Sunday - Sophie, Jake, Lydia, Asher and Alex (plus Alex's friend) led the service and did a great job! Thank you all for your hard work.

May 13. 2018, Mother's Day - members of the Youth Group- Lydia, Sophie, Alex, and Asher led our service in honor of Mother's Day - Dot's grandchildren and great-grandchildren greatly added to the Children's Church!
