Annual Fall Fundraiser

Our annual Fall Fundraiser will be on Sunday, October 10,  2010 at Riverbend Park. Mark your calendars!  Turkey and dressing lunch with all the trimmings, including dessert!  Silent and live auctions and country store.  Fun for the whole family!  More info to come.

Your help is needed to prepare for the fundraiser:
Friday, Oct 8th - meet in the fellowship hall at 4 p.m. to begin work on auction items, a light supper of sandwiches will be served.  All donated items must be at the church no later than Wednesday.  If you know of a business that would like to make a donation of an item or a service, please contact them.  Several members might go together and purchase a larger item for the aution.
Sunday, Oct. 10th - meet at the park pavillion at 6 a.m. to set up tables, chairs, aution, silent auction and country store items.  A crew will also need to meet at the church at 6 a.m. to move all items to the park.     
                                                

Cookbooks Have Arrived!

The Church cookbook "A Taste of Heaven" is here -- in plenty of time to be available at the October Fundraiser.  It includes over 200 recipes from our church members and friends. Priced at $10 it will be an awesome Christmas gift!  

Cookbooks will be available  on Sundays, in the FPC Library.  Please think about how many you want to buy for yourself and as gifts.  
Orders can be placed now by completing the Cookbook Order Form.  If you have cookbooks mailed to you or a friend, there is a $2.00 postage and handling fee per book. Order now and get your Christmas shopping done early. They will sell out fast.  Proceeds from the sale will be used to update the kitchen and the child-care room.
